Who Needs This Training
Controlling beneficial owners, management personnel over sales/training, and employee licensees who handle or transfer regulated marijuana.
Course Requirements
Complete an MED-Approved Training Program covering health and safety, diversion prevention, sales-to-minors prevention, quantity limits, and acceptable identification — per 1 CCR 212-3-505(B),(D). Required within 90 days of hire or ownership.
Renewal
Must be retaken once every 2 years to maintain Responsible Vendor designation, per 1 CCR 212-3-505(D).
Course Duration
Approximately 2 hours; final exam typically 40 questions, 70% passing score.
Credential Issued
MED-recognized Responsible Vendor certificate and badge.
